Are you utilising the pinned post feature of Instagram?
This is one of the most underused features, however is something that every account should be making the most of!
When you 'pin' a post, it positions it at the top of your feed, no matter the date you posted it! This makes it the first thing people see when they visit your profile and it's the best way to ensure every visitor is seeing your most important information.
You can pin up to 3 posts, which gives you a few opportunities to connect with your audience, showcase key content and share key information that helps lead that visitor into a customer.
How to pin an Instagram post 👇🏼
- Open Instagram
- Go to your profile
- Choose the post you want to pin
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner
- Click 'pin to your profile'. And voila! It's now front and centre at the top of your feed!

- Showcase your top selling product / service
- Top performing post / reel
- Overview of your products / services
- Your brand story
- Upcoming launch / new release
- Showcase a service list with prices
- Answer FAQ's
- Promotional post
- Time sensitive information
- How to book an appointment
- How to use / style your products
- Customer reviews / results
Pinned posts can be static feed posts, carousels, or reels! Make each of these pinned posts count and ensure that they are including all of the relevant information that will make people want to take the next step to visit your website and buy!
